  • MSc in Obstetrics & Gynaecology Nursing: Focuses on maternal and neonatal care, high-risk pregnancies, and gynecological health. Requires BSc Nursing and 1 year of experience. Career options: Clinical Nurse Specialist, Educator, Supervisor, Research Nurse.
  • MSc in Paediatric Nursing: Specializes in child health, pediatric intensive care, and nursing research. Requires BSc Nursing and relevant clinical experience. Careers in hospitals, NICUs, schools, and community health.
  • MSc in Community Health Nursing: Emphasizes public health promotion and community well-being. Requires BSc Nursing with 55% marks and 1 year of experience. Career roles: Community/Public Health Nurse, Educator, Health Policy Analyst.
  • MSc in Psychiatric Nursing: Covers psychiatric care, psychopharmacology, and rehabilitation. Requires BSc Nursing. Graduates work in mental health nursing, clinical specialties, and counseling roles.

  • Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS): Provide expert care in specialized areas such as cardiology, oncology, critical care, or paediatrics.
  • Nurse Educator/Lecturer: Teach in nursing colleges and universities, train future nurses, and contribute to curriculum development.

Eligibility

Educational Qualification:

  • Passed B.Sc. Nursing or Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with minimum of 55% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination (relaxation of 5% for SC/ST candidates as per university or state norms).
  • Candidates must be a Registered Nurse/ Registered Midwife (RN/RM) with any State Nursing Council in India.
  • A minimum of one year of work experience after Basic B.Sc. Nursing or prior to or after Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing is required.

For International Candidates:

  • Equivalent to B.Sc. Nursing/Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing.
  • Must obtain a certificate of equivalence of qualification from the Indian Nursing Council (INC) or relevant authority.
  • English Language Proficiency: Must provide proof of English language proficiency (IELTS/TOEFL) if the medium of instruction was not English.
  • Registration: Should be registered as a nurse in their home country, and eligible for temporary registration with the INC.
  • Work Experience: Should have at least one year of clinical or teaching experience in nursing.
